In today's world, artificial intelligence has become an indispensable tool for businesses of all sizes.
From text generation to image creation, AI tools are being used to automate and streamline a wide range of business tasks and processes.
For example, check out my other article where I describe how to use ChatGPT for brand strategy development (naming, marketing, SEO, etc.)
Also, in another article, I show you how to use Midjourney for logo design.
However, there are plenty of AI tools (with new ones coming up every day)—so I picked the best ones and categorized them for you.
Here's my list of currently the best AI tools for every business need—sorted by category.
Most of these tools are freemium, which means they come with basic features for free, but you can also get a premium subscription for access to better features, faster response time, more quota, etc.
Let's start with AI chatbots and text-generation tools, as they can be used for a variety of business tasks.
Text-generation AI tools are designed to produce written content automatically—they can answer any question in just a few seconds.
These types of tools leverage artificial intelligence, think about all of that data that they were fed with—websites, books, podcasts, videos, etc.
It can help you save time with your daily activities as you don't have to do boring, mundane tasks like research, brainstorming, copywriting, etc.
Chatbots can generally help you be more creative and efficient at your work.
Other Text Generation AI Tools:
ChatGPT is the most popular of all (the one that made all the buzz in the media). It’s an awesome, very capable tool that can generate high-quality content in natural language.
Bing is like a competitor and a new version of ChatGPT from Microsoft, that can basically do the same as ChatGPT does, plus it also has access to the internet.
NotionAI is an extension of the Notion App, the popular tool that many creatives and business people use for task management, note-taking, etc.—Now, you can also generate text right inside the app!
MagicWrite is a part of Canva, it is their AI-powered writing assistant and it was specially designed to help content creators create better ideas right inside Canva.
Text enhancement tools help to improve the readability and clarity of written content—the most popular one is Grammarly.
Grammarly is a popular tool that can detect and correct grammar and spelling errors while you’re writing, which is pretty amazing.
I use it all the time, it’s an app that you can run on your Mac or Windows to assist you with grammar and even stylistic mistakes—everywhere you’re typing (writing emails, filling out forms, messaging apps, etc.)
Other Text Enhancement AI Tools:
WordTune can help to rephrase sentences to make them more concise and engaging, it’s basically like an alternative to Grammarly.
Hemingway, on the other hand, can help writers simplify their writing style to improve readability.
Image generation tools use AI to create visual content automatically—images, photos, illustrations, and even logos.
The most popular and capable one is definitely Midjourney, which is a tool that can be used to generate super-realistic images in any kind of style.
BTW—Also check out my other in-depth tutorial on how to use Midjourney for logo design.
Other Text Enhancement AI Tools:
DALL-E is a similar tool that also can generate original images based on textual prompts—just describe what you want, and voila!
Illustroke, on the other hand, is an AI tool that can be used to generate illustrations and logos in vector format.
You can find many AI tools to create images these days, even companies like Shutterstock (photo stock) add AI image-generators to their platforms in an attempt to leverage this new technology.
This category of content creation focuses on AI tools designed specially to help businesses generate high-quality content at scale.
Of course, you can use the above-mentioned ChatGPT for free, but tools like Jasper have many additional features and even copywriting frameworks in-built to help you do your work much faster (an all-in-one tool).
For example, I sometimes use Jasper + SurferSEO to optimize/update some of the old content on my blog.
Other Content Creation AI Tools:
The next one is CopyAI which is yet another great tool that can help you create marketing copy automatically.
Moonbeam is yet another AI platform that can generate blog posts based on a given topic.
TextCortex is also worth mentioning here, as this AI tool can be used to summarize/rewrite your articles automatically.
Some people say that the most advanced tool of all the above is Content At Scale, so you might want to try it out!
Ultimately, each of these tools varies in features and prices—so it’s up to you to give it a try and figure out which one you like the most.
SEO tools help businesses improve their online visibility and attract more organic traffic.
The most popular AI-powered SEO tool on the market is SurferSEO, without a doubt!
SurferSEO can help businesses identify the most effective SEO strategies, it has pretty robust keyword research tool and other auditing and analyzing features.
It has even a text generator built-in, but it also integrates well with Jasper, if you want to take your SEO game to the next level.
BrowseAI is yet another AI tool for SEO—it can be used to optimize website content for on-page SEO.
If you don’t the price of the tools above—here’s a cheaper alternative, SEOmatic is also a great platform that offers a suite of SEO tools, including keyword research, site audits, and competitor analysis.
Research tools help businesses gather and analyze data more efficiently—they can take notes for you in the background, summarize your reading, etc.
Genei is a tool that can be used to extract information from your business documents automatically (reports, research papers, presentation decks, creative briefs etc.)
Mem is a pretty cool tool, as advertised “self-organizing workspace”—it is an AI-powered research assistant that can help you in research, writing, and project management.
Otter is a tool that can be used to record and transcribe interviews, meetings, and other events automatically.
These tools can basically act as your meeting assistant that records audio, writes notes, automatically captures slides, and generates summaries.
Video editing is probably one of the most consuming tasks of all, but with the new AI tools, you can create quality videos more efficiently.
For example, I used to use Premiere Pro for video editing (for my podcast and youtube channel), until I discovered Descript that is.
Premiere Pro is great, but you have to listen to the whole audio to basically find parts you wanted to edit/remove, you just go frame-by-frame basically.
However, Descript changed the game with their automatic transcriptions, and text-based editing—meaning that by editing text, you edit the video track (save a lot of time!).
There are also other great features like voice enhancers, templates, transitions, sound effects, and other useful tools that I use on a daily basis at my business.
Also, check out Fliki—which is a similar tool, but it mostly focuses on helping businesses create presenter explainer videos (text-to-video).
WiseCuts is a tool that can be used to automatically edit and optimize video content for social media platforms (resize, crop, trim, add subtitles, etc.)
Video presenter tools use AI to create realistic avatars or digital humans that can be used to create explanatory videos/tutorials/courses etc.
With tools like Synthesia, you can even create your own avatar and then either use text-to-speech to create a voiceover or upload your own audio recording.
In either case, it’s pretty amazing that you can create simple explainer videos, without having to actually record anything!
D-ID is also a tool that also can be used to create digital avatars that look like real people (just like Synthesia).
BHuman is a platform that offers a range of video presenter tools, including avatar creation, animation, voice-over, and more.
Voice editing tools can help you and your businesses to improve the quality of audio recordings, like for example podcasts recorded on a low-quality mic (or with background noise).
When Adobe came up with its tool Adobe Podcast, it went pretty viral—people were essentially shocked by the magic it can do to poor-quality audio recording.
ElevenLabs is yet another platform that offers a range of AI-powered audio enhancing and editing tools, including noise reduction, equalization, compression, and even voice generation (it can imitate your own voice!).
Resemble AI, on the other hand, is a voice cloning tool that can be used to generate synthetic voices that sound like real people.
Adobe Podcast is absolutely free to use, so you can give it a try now.
Music composition tools use AI to create original music tracks automatically, which means you can
Whether you need background music for youtube videos, podcasts, social media content—these AI tools come in handy.
Mubert is probably the most capable platform as of now that can generate music tracks based on mood, genre, and other criteria.
Soundraw is a platform that offers a range of AI-powered music composition tools, including melody generation, chord progression, and drum patterns.
Lalal AI is a tool that can be used to create original lyrics and melodies for songs, while Mubert
AI Presentation-maker tools can help you create PowerPoint / Keynote presentations in just seconds, based on the text input provided (usually a topic and a short description).
Tome is an AI-powered tool that can be used to create presentations from plain text automatically.
It’s basically like using ChatGPT for research and then using a tool like Midjourney or DALL-E to generate images and then ultimately putting it together on Canva.
BeautifulAI is a platform that offers a range of presentation templates and design tools that can be used to create visually appealing presentations automatically.
I’m sure there are other tools like the ones above, but I believe that AI is not quite there yet when it comes to presentation-making.
Yes, it works for simple tasks, but it’s a quite complicated task to have it fully automated by the AI just yet.
Plagiarism checker tools can help you detect and prevent plagiarism in written content.
After all, if you use any of the AI content generators (without paraphrasing it), you’re risking Google flagging you for plagiarism.
That’s why you should always use tools like OriginalityAI, which is a platform that uses AI to identify potential plagiarism in written content (AI that identifies AI written content).
CopyLeaks is yet another AI plagiarism checker that can be used to scan your auto-generated text for similarities to other sources.
GTP Radar is also another worth mentioning tool that can be used to detect and prevent plagiarism, especially in academic papers and other scholarly documents.
There are many online website builders out there, but they all require some web design/development knowledge and usually require a lot of time (days or weeks) to build a website.
Not anymore!—With tools like Wix ADI you can now create professional-quality websites more efficiently.
10Web is also a platform that offers a range of website design tools, including templates, plugins, and widgets—with AI built-in to help you put it together much faster.
Mixo is yet another website builder that uses AI to optimize website design and functionality based on user behavior and preferences.
In conclusion, AI tools have become prevalent these days and many businesses started using them to optimize their tasks and processes and increase productivity in general.
When I first heard about some of these tools, I was skeptical, but once I give it a try—then I knew I’d never come back to my old way of doing things!
If you ignore AI now, you risk getting left behind!
Now, thanks to AI you can automate many things around your business, from research to copywriting, content creation, SEO optimization, and anything in-between.
AI-powered tools can help businesses to automate tasks, improve efficiency, and deliver better results.
